NIBSS in Collaboration with PAPSS Highlights Cross-Border Payment Solutions at the last edition of the IATF in Egypt

Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) was at the last edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) held in Egypt, where it showcased its collaborative efforts with the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS) to revolutionize cross-border payments across Africa.

The IATF, renowned as the continent’s premier platform for promoting intra-African trade and economic integration, provided an ideal stage for NIBSS and other stakeholders to highlight their commitment to fostering seamless financial transactions across Africa. With a focus on advancing economic cooperation and trade relations among African nations, the event attracted a diverse array of stakeholders from across the continent.

At the heart of NIBSS’s participation was its objective to showcase collaborative initiatives with PAPSS aimed at facilitating pan-African cross-border settlements and promoting financial inclusion on a continental scale. Leveraging innovative payment solutions and cutting-edge technology, NIBSS demonstrated its role as a catalyst for driving economic growth and prosperity across Africa.

Through strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts with PAPSS, NIBSS aims to streamline cross-border settlement processes, reduce transaction costs, and enhance the efficiency and security of financial transactions within the continent. By leveraging its expertise and infrastructure, NIBSS seeks to empower businesses and individuals with access to convenient and reliable settlement solutions that transcend geographical boundaries.

NIBSS’s participation at IATF 2023 in collaboration with PAPSS served as a testament to our dedication to enhancing pan-African cross-border settlement solutions and economic cooperation within Africa.
